LaRita was born and raised on the South side of Chicago. She began performing spoken word under the pen name Femme Limerick. In 2002 she used the name to form the company to self publish her poetry. In 2012, LaRita decided to publish her first fiction novel and two additional poetry books. She expanded the company and put together a production team that would create a platform for independent artists. LaRita's goal is to open a multi-purpose theatre space that will serve as a hub for local and nation wide independent Artists, Playwrights and Filmmakers.

Demetrice was first introduced to the world of theater in 2015, when she accepted the invitation to work on set as the photographer for the production of Tossing Stones. She has also served as production assistant for the short film Consequences and as 2nd sound assistant for the short film Love's Last Dance. Demetrice is a photojournalist for the African American Golf Digest Magazine and WaKanna Business owner.
